Augmentt Default Assessments

An assessment is a named set of posture checks that defines what a tenant is measured against. It produces the compliance % you see in Compliance Audit and determines which rows appear in the audit table.

Augmentt ships a catalogue of ready-made assessments, one per major security framework. In the product these are labelled Augmentt Default in the Type column, to distinguish them from the Custom assessments you build yourself.

Find them at Secure > Security Posture > Compliance Audit > Assessments.

Augmentt maintains these for you. As new posture checks ship, Augmentt adds them to the relevant Default assessments and corrects existing mappings. You get the benefit automatically — there is nothing to re-import and no version to keep up with. This is the main reason to assign a Default assessment rather than recreate one by hand.

Assessments are not Posture Templates. An assessment defines what you measure; a Posture Template is a reusable bundle of fixes you apply. Audit with an assessment, remediate with a template.
