Log in Halo
Go to Configuration → Integrations → HaloPSA API → View Applications
Click in 'NEW' to create a new API application.
In the Details tab select Client ID and Secret (Services) as Authentication Method

IMPORTANT: Store the Client Secret in a safe space, it won’t be shown again after you add the API

Pro tip: Click on Generate in the Client Secret area (even if a Client Secret already appears. Clicking Generate will stop the Client ID from "rolling".

In the ‘Login Type’ field select 'Agent'
In the 'Agent to log in as' field choose your API Agent created on the previous step
In the Permissions tab select the minimum API permissions:
1. read:tickets
2. edit:tickets
3. read:customers
Fill out the rest of the form with the information you’d like and click ‘Save.’
