Intune App Configuration Templates

The Templates tab is your reusable library of app configurations. You capture a configuration once from a tenant you have set up properly, and from then on you deploy it to any customer without rebuilding it.

From Secure > Intune > App Management > Configuration > Templates you can:

• Create a template by capturing an app configuration policy from a connected tenant

• Group templates into baselines that deploy together

• View, edit, duplicate and delete templates and baselines

Access. The Templates tab only appears for users with the Manage permission on Intune. It is hidden entirely at View.

Templates are an all-companies page. Unlike the Policies tab, Templates is not scoped to the selected customer. Everything here belongs to your organisation and is visible to your whole team. There is no per-customer template library.
