Intune Onboarding Templates

Onboarding Templates is your reusable library of Windows Autopilot deployment profiles. Build the profile once, the way you want every customer's new laptops to come out of the box, and deploy it to any tenant from here.

From Secure > Intune > Onboarding > Templates you can:

• Create a template by capturing an Autopilot deployment profile from a connected tenant

• Group templates into baselines that deploy together

• View, edit, duplicate and delete templates and baselines

This is a page in its own right, not a tab. Deploying what you build here, and managing the profiles live in a tenant, is covered by Intune Onboarding Deployment Profiles.

Access. You need the Manage permission on Intune. Both the Create New menu and the row actions are hidden at View.

Templates are an all-companies page. Everything here belongs to your organisation and is visible to your whole team. There is no per-customer template library.
