The Secure Score in Microsoft is calculated daily however the updated items need to be in before Microsoft starts their calculation process and the day must complete before the calculation starts.
Microsoft also does not run their calculations on Weekends or Holidays.
Due to these limitations from Microsoft it is expected to see a 24-72 hour gap between deploying a policy and seeing the updated Secure Score
